Passionate about board games, he has worked on titles like <em>When I Dream<\/em> and <em>Marchands du Nord<\/em>, and is known for his <strong>\u201cchameleon\u201d style<\/strong>, allowing him to adapt to a wide range of visual approaches. His contribution to the BGF spans <strong>three consecutive editions<\/strong>, with posters that are rich, interconnected, and always full of playfulness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How did you approach creating these posters?<br>Was there an idea, mood or message you wanted to convey?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For all three posters, I had the pleasure of working with <strong>Tanju Goban<\/strong>, who was the festival\u2019s coordinator at the time. It was a <strong>great collaboration<\/strong>, where the concepts evolved organically together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>2018<\/strong>, the focus was on the <strong>Parc du Cinquantenaire<\/strong>, and the idea was to highlight the <strong>connections between different gaming worlds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>2019<\/strong>, we continued in the same direction, but added an <strong>eco-conscious<\/strong> layer \u2014 hence the <strong>lush greenery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>2020<\/strong>, we kept the same base but extended the concept of <strong>interconnection<\/strong> to include other media like comics, cinema and mobile games. Working around a <strong>shared passion for games<\/strong> was incredibly rewarding.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Is there a detail or easter egg in your posters that few people notice?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes! I\u2019m a big fan of <strong>Lovecraft<\/strong>, especially <strong>Cthulhu<\/strong>\u2026 and he appears in <strong>every single poster<\/strong>, in different ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>2020 poster<\/strong>, few noticed that <strong>Professor Nosides<\/strong> is admiring a <strong>Space Marine he just painted<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>2018 poster<\/strong>, the <strong>blue Formule D\u00e9 car<\/strong> has a <strong>tentacle<\/strong> on it (Cthulhu again!), a <strong>number 44<\/strong> (an inside joke with friends), and even a <strong>little scented pine tree<\/strong> in the cockpit. The <strong>green car<\/strong> has a <strong>very unusual team name<\/strong> too \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7
